Saved the Dog
Yes, we killed lots of rabbits, birds, squirrels, etc., but I remember a time that Dave saved an animal. Dave and I went horseback riding in the foothills with Jodi Hendricks (oooh, I had the hots for Jodi). Anyway, we went for a real long ride and it was extremely hot out that day. On the way back, Jodi's dog kind of freaked out. He just froze in place and stood there all cramped up. Jodi started to panic a little bit and I had no idea what to do. Thank goodness Dave was there. He hopped off his horse, picked up the dog and ran him over to a near by canal. He got the dog down in the water and started massaging its muscles. I didn't know what he was doing so I just kinda stood there and watched. Anyway, after about 5 or 10 minutes the dog seemed all better and made it the rest of the way home. After we got back, Jodi's Dad, who was a veterinarian, said that it sounded like the dog had gotten heat stroke and that Dave had done the perfect thing. He also said that if Dave hadn't done that, the dog probably would have died. I don't know how Dave knew what to do, but thank goodness he did. It turned out great for the dog that day, but unfortunately not so great for me, as I think Dave scored some serious points with Jodi. :(

I think Dave probably gave the dog some poison...waited for the dog to freak out...pretented to help it while he gave it the vaccine...then made himself look like some kind of hero to Jodi. If a girl was involved, Dave would do about anything.
I'm with Brett. Definately wouldn't put it past Dave "stage" a heat stroke incident for Jodie. He's probably the one that talked Brad into his perm just to get another leg up on the competition.
