Dave earned himself a bit of a reputation for being tardy...
Our last year at the Y Dave showed up last to our new apartment and got last pick of the rooms. Unfortunately for him the remaining room was shared with Yegor (AKA Chuck, AKA Mr. Turkey Neck Soup, AKA Mr. Tighty-Whities). Yegor was a Russian Graduate student who had not adapted well to Utah culture. There was no end to the odd smells Chuck could generate in the kitchen. One classic Chuck moment was the time we were watching movies with the ladies in the living room and he strode out from his room in his tighty-whities to adjust the volume. We had our share of fun with Chuck (Pearl Jam cranked up to 11 at midnight). Dave was a good sport and put up with Yegor well.
That was another great thing about Dave: he made friends quickly. He was instrumental in turning that apartment into a social hub making that year another great one.

LOL. Poor Chuck, having to put up with us that year. I am worried about what he may have written about us and Utah back in his homeland. Dave was a great friend to him and definitely left a good impression and made Yegor's experience much better. I forgot about the late night Pearl Jam....Jeremy wasn't it??
